    • Captain Charles Wilson was a carpenter and builder in Philadelphia, which latter place he left to remove to Cairo, Illinois, where he now [1895] resides. He served as a soldier and was captain of the old Monroe guards, of Philadelphia, which helped to put down the Philadelphia riots of 1844. He wedded Mary Bickham, a daughter of George Bickham. They reared a family of six children
